A few years ago a group of divers began visiting the island of Cozumel to explore the caves in and around the island. Over the years the group has expanded. Several caves have been explored and mapped and new caves have been found. The team has returned to Cozumel to continue its efforts. There are several ongoing projects. The goal of the team is to continue to explore and map the caves and use the information to help preserve the caves.
